Our past leaders had the forethought to create an endowment where the principal money is never touched. Once the fund reaches a certain rate, we are able to receive distributions of interest.

The endowment, through Community Foundation of Lorain County, allows our money to grow at a better rate than just typical savings. In fact, "current portfolio management by the Community Foundation is averaging a 7.17% ten-year return on investment." according to Laura Malone, Development Officer.
With the Covid pandemic, our fundraising was impacted and we had to utilize some of our endowment distribution in 2021. Had we not had the fund, we may have had to close our doors. Please help keep us operating and donate today!
