- Promote B2B (Business to Business) Mixer events to increase communication with business leaders
- Brainstorm ways to cross promote businesses and increase foot traffic
- Devise ways to attract and retain a variety of businesses in Wellington
- Creating a Google map of downtown businesses with a highlight on public parking
The Design Committee meets the first Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
- Plant flowers barrels in the spring
- Work to obtain banners, signs, benches etc. and other items that improve the aesthetic beauty of downtown
- Coordinate downtown clean up days with Keep Ohio Beautiful and Wellington High School
The Marketing/Promotions Committee is the busiest, yet most fun committee responsible for:
- Meetings are typically the fourth Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. Additional meetings are necessary when big events are scheduled.
- We occasionally meet for dinner at a local restaurant. Please call for details. 440-647-3987.
- Coordinating our many events including The Gazebo Garden Walk, July 3 and 4, Fall Events Wellington Community Christmas.
- They also brainstorm ways to publicize our organization to gain support and members
The Organizational Committee focuses on volunteer development, communications and public relations, recruiting members and sponsors and fundraising.
- This committee typically meets once per month on the first Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
