REGISTRATION is now closed.
Line up begins at 2 p.m. and starts on Pleasant, Montrose Way and Grand Ave. and you must be in place by 2:30 p.m. The parade route is as follows: The starting point is at the corner of Pleasant St. and South Main Street [Route 58] Travel north up Route 58 then turn right onto East Herrick Ave [Route 18 East] proceed to Courtland Ave. and Disband. Registration: All participants must register in advance. Registration closes July 1, 2024. Following completed registration, you will be e-mailed any additional information, including the number of your unit’s position in the parade. If you have not received your placement number. FIRST- check your spam email. Then call 440-647-3987. Placement emails should go out on June 21, There will be number markers along the route. Be mindful not to park directly in front of a driveway in case the homeowner needs to leave. Please drive slow and safely while lining up and during the parade as there are typically kids involved in the parade. |
Red line shows the lineup. 1 shows the start of the parade which will turn right and move north on Route 58. There may be extra parking near the Athletic Field, Union School Park, and behind the Town Hall. There will be volunteers stationed close to the yellow numbers. They are volunteers- please be nice! Rules for the July 4th Parade in Wellington
All participants must complete entire parade route.
Trailer and Car Parking: Parking for non-parade vehicles is provided at Wellington Athletic Field [outside of the fence]
SAFETY RULES
All rules must be followed!
Inevitably people do use squirt guns and water balloons during the parade.
We do not condone this, however we urge you to be mindful and not throw them at the elderly, young kids, or animals [especially horses]
Unless people are throwing them at you or kids begging to be squirt- DON'T do it!

- Throwing candy or other items is PROHIBITED from vehicles.
- You may hand out candy and items. Please walk over to the crowd and hand out the candy/items.
- Tractors - only the driver-operator is allowed on an open-air tractor.
- Drivers of floats and vehicles must obey all traffic laws and keep at a safe distance from other parade vehicles/walkers.
