Formed in 1998, Main Street Wellington is an organization of business owners, property owners, and professionals commited to revitalizing our historic district while preserving its unique character.

The Main Street Program

Main Street Wellington is a certified Ohio Main Street program and a national Main Street Community. This organization follows the four principles of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Main Street Program.

Organization- Building a concensus and cooperation amoung groups that play a role in the downtown area.

Design- Improving the downtown's image by improving its physical appearance.

Promotion- Marketing the downtown's unique characteristics, creating a positive image of downtown.

Economic Restructuring- Strengthening and diversifying the downtown economic base.
